KRAKEN BLACK SPICED RUM

There are a few eyewitnesses who survived the fury of the Kraken and all of them corroborate that the Kraken looks like a squid but with the size of an island that dwells at the depth off the coasts of the Caribean sea.

Their 8 tentacles are massive! As tall as the tallest mast of a ship and thick… as thick as the thickest part of Chile. It’s mouth has razor like teeth and it’s jaws are as big as Tower bridge. The Kraken easily devours all of anything that it confronts and survives on a diet of whales, sailors and spiced rum.

History says, that one of the biggest cargos of Dark spiced rum from the Caribbean islands met the Kraken on it’s way to Norway. The sailors attempted to kill the Kraken with dynamite, but this just increased the fury of the beast, breaking the ship and killing all the crew.
All the barrels were destroyed in the wreckage, all but one, which was saved from the deepest depth of the sea and which was terribly stained by the Kraken’s Ink.
This barrel became the KRAKEN BLACK SPICED RUM inspiration.

Kraken spiced rum was launched in 2010.

The rum base is from Trinidad and Tobago and is one of the first black Caribbean rums blended with spices.

It is distilled in continuous columns at the Fernandez distillery from naturally fermented molasses and aged in bourbon barrels for nearly 2 years; making a bold, rich, black and smooth delightful beverage.

Next, it’s blended with the finest barrels and a mix of 11 spices; including cinnamon, ginger, cloves, nutmeg and many others that are kept as a secret in the depths of the ocean, and guarded by the Kraken. The design of the bottle is inspired by a Victorian Flagon and it’s too rings were specially designed for hanging the bottle on a rope to avoid any wreckage when sailing the rough, stormy seas.

Prepare a high ball glass with ice and put the 3 parts of ginger beer inside; add the part of Kraken Black spiced rum and stir it to unleash the Kraken’s poison with the ginger beer.

Garnish it with a Lime wedge.

The Kraken Storm takes your classic Dark & Stormy and casts a spiced squall through the drink — full of flavour, it’s a modern staple of the bar.

An explosion in your mouth that was meant to be mixed.
